Job Description:

MGS Mfg. Group has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Quality Engineer at our molding facility in Germantown, WI.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management Systems ensuring product compliance to internal and customer specifications as well as compliance to MGS processes

 As the Quality Engineer, you will..

  • Address customer complaints and internal quality issues.
  • Address suspect and non-conforming product.
  • Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Approve product for shipment.
  • Support engineering change process
  • Support Operations.
  • Understand ISO-13485 Medical devices – Quality Management Systems – Requirements for regulatory purposes.
  • Understand 21 CFR Part 820 Quality System Regulation – Good Manufacturing Practice for the Medical Devices.
  • Understand cleanroom gowning practices and cleanliness requirements for manufacturing within a cleanroom.
  • Understand medical customer-specific requirements.
  • Understand IATF 16949 Quality management system requirements for automotive production and relevant service parts organizations.
  • Understand data collection, documentation, and reporting requirements for Controlled Shipping Level 1 and Level 2 (CS-1 and CS-2).
  • Understand automotive customer-specific requirements.

Experience and Skills:

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business is preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving
  • Demonstrated statistical analysis skills
  • GD&T experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and good judgement skills
