MGS Mfg. Group has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Quality Auditor at our molding facility in Germantown, WI.

The Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring that Quality Control procedures are being followed at the injection molding machines (IMMs). 

We have current openings on our 12 Hour Day or Night Shifts. Work hours are 6:45 to 7:00 under a 2-2-3 rotation, working 3 days one week (36 hours) and 4 days the next (48 hours).

As the Quality Auditor, you will..

  • Perform Start of Shift (SoS) and In Process (IP) verification activities to ensure that running jobs continue to run according to instructions, operator(s) are properly trained and are inspecting the correct number of parts, the product meets all visual requirements, process records are complete and correct, and that the appropriate samples have been submitted to the QA lab for measurement and testing.
  • Perform After Significant Event (ASE) verification activities to ensure that the process has returned to a stable situation, the operator(s) are properly trained and are inspecting the correct number of parts, the product meets all visual requirements, process records are complete and correct, and that the appropriate samples have been submitted to the QA lab for measurement and testing.
  • Perform product release activities and generate move tickets.
  • Verify line clearance.
  • Gather batch records & return approved samples and/or gages to QA lab at end of job.
  • Complete appropriate records to provide evidence of these verification activities.
  • Initiate the checkback process when non-conforming product is found.
  • Know and follow all the Company’s safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as a good role model to employees for safe work practices and behavior by conducting yourself professionally, keeping in mind your own safety and the safety of others.
  • Learn and master all necessary areas of the quality system.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Perform Set-Up / Start-Up (FPA) verification activities to ensure that the equipment and processes are correctly set up, the operator(s) are properly trained and are inspecting the correct number of parts, the product meets all visual requirements, process records are complete and correct, and that the appropriate samples have been submitted to the QA lab for measurement and testing.
