Job Description:

MGS Germantown is looking for a Production Training Coordinator located in Germantown, WI. The Production Training Coordinator will be responsible for analyzing training needs, evaluating training effectiveness to ensure employee development, maintains and tracks training progression, provides and ensures consistent and standardized training for MGS Germantown. The Production Training Coordinator will drive the Operator Development Program for the Operators.

Below are the essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyzes training needs to ensure training programs are implemented effectively.
  • Understands, manages, drives, and executes training of all Operators using the criteria established by the Operator Development Program in accordance with company standards ensuring consistent training.
  • Coordinates and administers onboarding training to all new Operators ensuring to create a positive introduction to MGS and communicates policies and procedures effectively.
  • Validates any employee responsible for training new employees are qualified and trained properly including following up on any additional training needs as required.
  • Schedule and executes cleanroom training in accordance with the cleanroom regulations.
  • Schedules and administers training, including but not limited to Paulson and Coach training.
  • Assist in assessment of training progress and provide feedback to Supervisors.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a training matrix to help assess, train, and keep track of training needs for Supervisors.
  • Responsible for completion of documentation of all training records ensuring GDP compliance requirements are met and submitted to Human Resources.
  • Identifies areas of operational opportunity for continuous improvement.
  • May assist in the development and facilitation of additional training materials and programs.
  • As required, provide assistance with the continuous training needs including scheduling of training and approval of training.
  • Fulfills the role of production employees when the need arises.
  • Any other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

A qualified candidate would fulfill these requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in training and development or equivalent is preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of accrued on-the-job training and experience.
  • Must understand the Operator responsibilities of every press in the shop.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a train the trainer program.
  • Ability to work flexible work hours including nights and/or weekends as needed.
  • Proven ability to assess, train, develop, and motivate teams.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential data.
  • Demonstrated competency in plastics injection molding and performing training and mentoring.
